Today the Supreme Court handed down its landmark judgement in Uber BV & Others v Aslam & Others [2021] UKSC 5.  It dismissed Uber BV’s appeal and found in favour of the Claimant drivers.

TfL CCTV Consultation

Today Transport for London (TfL) opened a consultation entitled ‘In-Vehicle Closed Circuit Television in Taxis & Private Hire Vehicles’.  It seeks “…views on in-vehicle CCTV in taxis and PHVs…” following the publication of the Department for Transport ‘Statutory Taxi & Private Hire Vehicle Standards‘ (July 2020).  The consultation closes on 22nd March 2021.
