Neil Morley | Managing Director
Neil is the founder of Travis Morley.
He is an accomplished legal professional who has developed his expertise over the last 20 years within roles at Erewash Borough Council, South Derbyshire District Council, Derbyshire County Council, Lawspeed Ltd, St Marys Chambers and the University of Sheffield.
He specialises in Taxi Licensing Law within which he is able to offer the unique perspective of both a lawyer and former licensing officer. Neil, as a former university lecturer, also consults on Contract & Commercial Law and, as a former local government legal adviser, Data Protection & Information Law.
He provides advice, assistance and non-litigious representative services to a wide-range of clients from private individuals to regional organisations and international companies. Just some of the local bodies he has worked with include Bedford Hackney Carriage Association, Buckinghamshire Contractors Association, South Cambridgeshire Executive Operators Group and St Albans & Harpenden Taxi Association. Whilst his past, and current, corporate clients also include Addison Lee (Carlyle Group), Tristar Worldwide, One Transport (Gett UK), Intacab Ltd (Toomey Motor Group), Brunel (Europcar Group) and the BBC.
He is the official legal advisor to the Licensed Private Hire Car Association (LPHCA) and has advised the Private Hire Board (PHB), National Association of Wedding Car Professionals (NAWCP) and National Taxi Association (NTA). He has consulted on national law reforms, government briefs and well-reported High Court cases. Neil has a regular column in Private Hire News and his opinions have been published in the Law Society Gazette.
He holds an LLB (Hons), LLM (Public International Law), Level 2 Licensing Practitioner Certificate and is a member of the Institute of Licensing. Neil was Called to the Bar by Middle Temple in 2008 and admitted as a Solicitor of England & Wales in 2012.
Andrea Morley | Finance Director
Andrea is an excellent administrator who organises and maintains the daily workings of the company. She is developing her knowledge of Taxi Licensing Law and intends to offer consultancy services in the near future. She holds a BSc and NVQ Level 3.
