Court of Appeal on Addison Lee

Today the Court of Appeal handed-down its judgement in the case of Addison Lee Limited v Lange & Others [2021] EWCA Civ 594.  It dismissed an appeal by Addison Lee against an earlier Employment Tribunal decision in September 2017, which had been upheld by the Employment Appeal Tribunal in November 2018, finding three drivers were ‘workers‘.  Addison Lee, it is understood, does not intend to appeal.
