APPG Night Time Economy Report

Today the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Night Time Economy published, following an inquiry, its findings on ‘Covid-19 & UK Nightlife‘. It highlights the devastating financial impact of the pandemic on the night time economy and, based on stakeholder feedback, makes a number of recommendations.  Those include (1) a clear strategy for recovery, (2) continuation of financial support, (3) injection of grant funding and, amongst others, (4) the appointment of a Night Time Economy Advisor.  It is understood the report has been passed to Government for consideration.
