New National Policy Framework

Today the Department for Business & Trade (DBT) has published its ‘National Licensing Policy Framework for the Hospitality & Leisure Sector‘.  It follows an earlier call for evidence on ‘Reforming the Licensing System‘ which sought views on a number of recommendations to reduce regulatory burdens.  The Framework provides guidance to licensing authorities, and the wider industry, on applying the Licensing Act 2003 in respect of supporting safeguarding, investment, regeneration and culture.
