VAT Consultation Plan 2024

Today the HM Treasury published its ‘Autumn Statement 2023‘.  It confirmed the Government’s intention, at paragraph 5.81, to “…consult in early 2024 on the impacts of the July 2023 High Court ruling in Uber Britannia Ltd v Sefton MBC…“.  Whilst uncertainty remains around the court case, pending a possible appeal, it will be interesting to see what parameters are set for this consultation.
