New APS Regulations

Today the Department for Transport (DfT) has published its response to the ‘Automated Passenger Services (APS) Permitting Scheme Consultation‘.  This included the laying before Parliament of the Automated Vehicles (Permits for Automated Passenger Services) Regulations 2026 (under the Automated Vehicles Act 2024).  It details certain procedural and administrative matters relating to automated passenger services.
