LA on DfT LTA Proposals

Today the London Assembly (LA) published its ‘Transport Committee Response to Consultation on Local Transport Authorities & the Licensing Taxis & Private Hire Vehicles‘.  Within the letter, it calls for new legislative powers to be given Transport for London (TfL) enabling it to tackle cross-border hiring.  A response from the Department for Transport (DfT) is awaited.
