Face Masks Mandatory

Today the Government laid before Parliament an update to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Wearing of Face Coverings in a Relevant Place and on Public Transport) (England) Regulations 2020.  These amendments add taxis and private hire vehicles to the modes of transport in which there is a requirement to wear a face mask (Health Protection (Coronavirus, Wearing of Face Coverings in a Relevant Place and on Public Transport) (England) (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 2020).  The new regulations take effect on 23rd September 2020.
