DfT AV Call for Evidence

Today the Department for Transport (DfT) issued a Call for Evidence on the implementation of the Automated Vehicles Act 2024. It seeks the views of road users, industry and disability groups with a view to helping “…shape the framework, which will ensure self-driving technology is safely introduced…”. A further consultation, upon the production of a draft framework, is expected later in 2026.
