Supreme Court: TfL Intervention

Today Transport for London (TfL) sought to intervene in the appeal of DELTA Merseyside & Others  v Uber Britannia Limited [2024]  EWCA Civ 802.  The matter is set to be heard by the Supreme Court and TfL is keen to partake given the potential consequences of disparity between the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998 and Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976.  It is understood the application, as detailed in the below letter, to intervene was refused.
